Clearly there will be large career returns to whoever bridges the hole between Law and Minerology, or Asian Studies and Analytical Chemistry. I like to think that sliver of a tie between Organic Chemistry and Sociology is Harrison White talking about social structure as striations of reptating polymer goo.
