dubois review on the obama election
The DuBois Review has a whole issue on the Obama election, with articles written by a slate of distinguished social scientists such as Howard Winant and Richard Thompson Ford. One especially interesting thing is a dialogue between William Julius Wilson and Henry Louis Gates, Jr. Here is the video. Recommended!

If that’s not enough, there have also been Obama issues at the Journal of Black Studies and the Black Scholar. Also worth checking out.
I’m not seeing the video. Is it me or your link?

When you click the link, you’ll see a “news announcement” midway down the page. Once you click the announcement it will take you to the video. If not, here’s the link: http://dubois.fas.harvard.edu/node/334.

FYI: The video is between Orlando Patterson and Henry Louis Gates, Jr., not Orlando Patterson and Gates.
