grad skool rulz book – surge!

Thanks to everyone who is downloading the Grad Skool Rulz book. I’m humbled by the support of my friends. You are making a big difference – the sample/download ratio is hovering between 80% and 90%, fantastic by e-book standards.  If you know anyone who might enjoy reading the book, please send them the link.

  1. I’m trying to decide whether to go for a PhD after I finish my masters next year. I love research, I love my field, (and don’t anybody, but) I love teaching. What I don’t know is if I love academia enough to see it as a career path.

After reading your book, I’m still ultimately undecided, but at least I feel like whatever decision I make will be better informed. And for that, I have to say, the price of your book was a couple of dollars well spent!

  2. If you love research and teaching – and you are good at them – you should considering continuing. Academia is an annoying bureaucratic system, but you can always learn to cope as long as you love your work.
