Thanks. The entire series of OnionTalks is worth a look. Punch after punch after punch after punch landed on the heavy bag of insufferable TEDPretention. I thought I was alone in quickly doing a 180 on TED from, “hey, this makes us look cool!” to “ugh, this sliver, MY sliver, of the upper middle class has converged on a presentation-of-self that really grates after a while…no wonder they hate us!” The OnionTalks told me that I was not alone. Maybe Ted shouldn’t talk so much?
