Omar, now that we *are* on the topic – can you tell us about your name? Is it Italian? or Filipino? Ever since someone told me that Omar Lizardo was such a great sociologist, I just had to ask… it’s such a cool name…

Fabio, the name is Spanish (my dad was born in the Northern part of Dominican Republic) and I wouldn’t be surprised if you could find it in the Phillpines by way of the colonial influence. BTW, I’m not the only Omar Lizardo in cyberspace, the goal keeper for the San Diego Gauchos is also named Omar Lizardo. Of course, by looking at the picture you can obviously tell that I’m much better looking than that other guy :)
