sopranos prediction

Brayden

Everyone’s making predictions. Here’s mine.

Paulie’s a rat. Phil gets whacked. Tony’s mad and whacks Paulie. Tony is crewless and his family doesn’t trust him. Carmela leaves, again. The end.

  1. Well, what happened? I heard there was a Schrodinger’s cat reference.

  2. Did Paulie get whacked with a gun that only fired a bullet if a photon passed through a small slit and therefore he’s now both whacked and un-whacked simultaneously?

You can tell I’ve never actually watched this show….

  3. Yep, there was a cat, although I didn’t get the reference on first viewing. My take on it was that the cat was meant to symbolize a few things: 1) the incompleteness of explaining life’s outcomes (e.g. who knows why bad stuff happens or why it happens to whom); 2) the increasing incoherence of the mafia’s universe; and 3) the guilt that all of the survivors felt for having survived and having been complicit in the killing of people who were supposed to be their friends. But that’s just my first thought.
Overall, the episode was pretty good. As Chase has done throughout the series, he left the entire thing open and didn’t attempt to resolve major plot twists.
