comparative organizations conference

Teppo

Here’s some information on an upcoming (September) conference on “Comparative Organizations” — go to the conference website for info on participants, tentative program, purpose and motivation etc.  We are thrilled  about who is attending; rarely does one get this caliber of org theory scholars in a room together.

Also, there’s an associated Academy of Management session (see the link on the site) on “comparative organizations: its history, promise, and future directions” that we organized; with Howard Aldrich, Dick Scott and Dave Whetten discussing the matter.

We’ll undoubtedly post more about comparative organizations and related issues in the future.
