  1. Mandolin tuning’s the same as a violin (for guitar, this piece is transposed to E minor, I think), so maybe the fingering is the same as violin fingering. If a fiddler can do it, why not mandolin? And maybe it’s probably easier to strum those double and triple stops than to bow them.
