Spring 2019 Cover low res

The issue of a more open and human approach to immigration is one that I have come to care about deeply in the last few years. The Spring issue of Contexts magazine is out and it focuses on migration. The digital issue is free for 30 days. We have a ton of article that you will enjoy. For example, economist Jonathan Portes makes a strong open borders argument in the lead essay. Then we have some of the top people in sociology such as Tanya Golash Boza, René Flores, and Pei-Chia Lan write about the varying impacts of migration policy. Click on this link and download it all.

PS. Our cover model is Suyupa Reyes of Philadelphia. She is in sanctuary and under threat of deportation to Central America. We wanted to show the human side of immigration.
